Philippe Malouin為 Roll & Hill 量身打造了Gridlock燈具系列，原始質樸、不做作，有著明顯的野獸派作品風格。Gridlock燈具系列通過簡單明了、柏拉圖型以及網格的重復設計構建強烈的工業主義特色。但是，它卻是由成千上萬個微小的黃銅部件純手工制作完成。
Raw and unpretentious, Gridlock is a series of lamps in the style of the Brutalist movement. Gridlock feels industrial in its straightforward, platonic forms and the repetitive efficiency of the grid; however, it is assembled entirely by hand from thousands of tiny brass parts.

École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle 和蒙特利爾大學學習過。現在倫敦居住和生活。從英國設計師Tom Dixon工作室辭職后，Philippe Malouin于2009年創立了自己的工作室。他的設計作品涵蓋桌子、地毯、椅子、燈具、藝術作品和裝置品等。他的客戶包括Marsotto Edizioni, Resident, OTHR, Hem, Ace hotel, Matter-Made, Established & Sons, Roll & Hill, 1882 ltd., Kvadrat, Umbra Shift, Caesarstone, IZÉ, Swarovski, Bloomberg, Aesop, Touch Digital等等。Philippe Malouin曾經獲得過he W Hotels‘Designer of the Future’ 獎項以及the Wallpaper ‘Best Use of Material’ 獎。設計師Philippe Malouin居住和工作的倫敦，也是他開工作室的地方。
Canadian Philippe Malouin holds a bachelor’s degree in Design from the Design Academy Eindhoven. He has also studied at the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle in Paris and University of Montreal. He lives and works in London. He set up his studio in 2009 after working for English designer Tom Dixon. He is also the director of POST-OFFICE, the architectural and interiors design practice. His diverse portfolio includes tables, rugs, chairs, lights, art objects and installations. Philippe’s client list includes: Marsotto Edizioni, Resident, OTHR, Hem, Ace hotel, Matter-Made, Established & Sons, Roll & Hill, 1882 ltd., Kvadrat, Umbra Shift, Caesarstone, IZÉ, Swarovski, Bloomberg, Aesop, Touch Digital.
